Well, it's for an "N" model, which is in some very limited quantity now, and 641 HP.

I think we're in agreement here, I had just given it a quick look initially and since there were a lot of things listed it didn't seem so egregious, but I guess it is...and as you say, the usual.
And all this stuff is why I hate the car buying process.

As for the door edge guards and cup protection, I found rolls of the stuff on Amazon for less than $20 each. Since I was curious, I looked up Hyundai OEM wheel locks too. Retail appears to be around $45 depending on the location.
Permaplate's web site says they offer both interior and exterior protection products. Sounds like the exterior is some sort of sealant or coating and the interior is a fabric/upholstery protectant. The usual stuff dealers try to pawn off on unsuspecting customers.
I had Perma Plate on my 90 accord. It was my dad’s and he gave it to me in 91. He bought a lot of cars from the same salesman and ended up GM. When I got an accord in 94 he gave me some Perma Plate. Just a sealant.
Interior Just a normal fabric protectant like grechniq I1 fabric.

What isn't really surprising is just how consistently quick the Hyundai is, but I would like to know its charge state at the end of the day.

Re: Can you Believe this is a Hyundai
That would be pretty interesting since the US EPA rates the range for the i5N at 221 miles, which is often a bit optimistic.
Overall though, if they didn't do those drag pulls all day long it might not be too bad. I have seen several people who will bring Model3 dual motors to our autocross vents. They'll drive upwards of 40~50 miles to get to the event, do upwards of 6 50-ish second runs in high heat conditions, and then drive them home before charging. I drove at a promotional event where they had a couple BMW i4's doing autocross runs all day long with only stops long enough to swap drivers. Those cars didn't get charged at all and there was no charging available at the venue. They may have trailered those cars off after the event, but they were happily cranking out one lap after another while people were there. That type of driving puts a dent in the range, but doesn't seem to hurt it as much as we'd expect.
I think the problem with the i5N is it's already at a range disadvantage due to the performance wizardry in the car so you'd probably feel it a lot more than you would in something for other automakers like Tesla, Lucid, or BMW.

Re: Can you Believe this is a Hyundai
With hybrid and electric cars if you're doing a lot of braking or even lift-off, you can recover a lot of energy, which is reflected in the EPA mileage usually being better for city vs. highway; that may explain some of what you're seeing at the track events.
