Re: Photography
One copy probably isn't good enough. Look at some of the online backup solutions in addition to your external drive. Places like Mozy, Carbonite and Amazon S3 (Jungle Disk)

Those are some pretty good shots that you took with the GF-1. What would you reccomend to someone looking to get the D90 or it's successor? Is the GF-1 good enough, or do you think one would be more satisfied with the D90?

I too am looking to purchase the D90 soon...or was at least. I have been reading some posts on other forums about it's successor that may be coming soon. If anything, the price of the D90 will drop in price as they try to clear them out. I am going to wait a little longer before I purchase one.

It really depends on your investment in glass and what you want to do. My GF-1 will never be a replacement for my D700. The nikon is my go to in the studio and for sports (paired with even heavier glass). The GF-1 to me is a camera for either someone who wants more control than a point and shoot or for someone wanting to learn the art of photography without having to lug around larger bodies/lenses. If cars is all you do, the GF-1 will do. Landscapes also. Birthday parties, home shots, etc also. Anything more and you may find yourself looking for a bigger beast.
