Re: Samsung LED TV's
I was looking at the samsung led tv in person and its true the color and picture were amazing. Blacks were truly black and a true color spectrum applied to the rest of the colors. The 40' was around $1400... I am happy right now with my 50' 3 year old DLP by Samsung, but when prices drop, I plan on upgrading to the LED series

i didn't care for the samsung led. the sales person at best buy pointed out the whites are more blue than white. he pointed out this is inherent with leds. he said they can adjust it out where it isn't so noticeable.

Buy a LCD 120hz+ with a response time of 6ms or lower. Then have a tech come out and adjust your color settings. Like this one

thanks ... found a couple LED's but sizing is a factor. I need to stick with 40' due to cabinet in room.
Its funny the UN40B6000U was in BB this morning for 1499.99 and my local store is still offering for 1299.99. I did however get Brandsmart to 1248.88 .... just waiting for a tick more.

Vizio, LG and Aquos are now promoting their brands of Led sets. If I were buying today I would watch the discount clubs for the Vizio.

Bought a 46" Samsung LED a couple weeks ago (120Hz, 6000). I haven't gotten it yet due to shipping difficulties but I did a lot of research before the buy. Here's some interesting reading . . .
