    Well it was a expensive day!

    The rack and pinion on wifs car went out. Been getting hard to steer so I flushed the system and it helped some. The rack seals failed
    So.... I do not have the equipment to do this. The front end is taken down.
    labor is $$$. At least he lets me bring my own parts.
    On the bright side the car is paid for. So I need to watch what I spend on detailing for a while.

    That blows! The cv boots on my wife's Quest were ripped and I could not believe how expensive is was to replace them. Were the parts expensive? Was it just replacing the seals?

    Whole new rack! 150 my cost. Plus alignment.
    But it's a 99 and this is the first major thing to go wrong. So I'm not too upset.
    Can imagine what new car parts cost
