Our old house that we bought in 2002 and sold to our son in 2020 had a 2 car heated garage
Our pickup lived in it for about a week and then the moving van showed up and that was that
2 or more cars, outside, 24/7/365 for 18 years
TOO MUCH CRAP
We still have a 10'x20' storage unit thats been full for about 21 years at the current rate of $256 a month, you do the math
There is stuff in there in boxes that we put into long term storage in 1994 when we moved back up to Alaska
You tell me just how badly we need stuff stored for 29 years
Or better yet, tell the boss
That's one reason we got a 12'x24' barn shed, hoping to get out of that storage unit for good

I've used the expensive pump protectant/anti-freeze from Briggs & Stratton for some time. Every year when I do it I wonder to myself if it isn't just snake oil. If you drained the pw in the fall what is there to freeze up & cause damage?

Fanks Paulie, I have a set of tire chains coming from Ariens, it was having a hard time with some of the hard wind packed drifts we have been getting and I am hoping they help

Isn't some of the function anti-rust? Even if there isn't enough water for freeze damage, it's still going to be wet in there to rust everything up.

Nice. You can also try lowering the tire pressures a bit. My blower tires call for 14psi, but I find it gets more "bite" running them at 10psi.

Yes. And it also lubricates the pump seals. I like to run a little through the wand as well.
