Love it when you post these pictures. Such a great mix of rare metal.
Do you happen to remember if that blue Rover sedan was an 820? I owned a Rover 820 hatchback for a while when we lived in the UK. Great car and mid/large sedan with a hatchback was a perfect family car for my growing clan at the time. The only thing that tops it is a proper station wagon.

Sorry, don't know too much about Rovers but it was Vanden Plas spec though if that helps.

The name did help. I was able to Google it. From what I read, the car in the pictures was the generation of Rover's big sedan prior to the 820 we owned. The only reason I know anything about the brand is from owning one and having a mild interest in the versions of the car Honda imported to the US and sold under the "Sterling" brand in the late 80's.
