$1500 for an axle-back? Are you sure you don't have a VW? LOL

    That's certainly more reasonable!

I'm between the Neuspeed and MBRP. $1300 and $750 respectively. Significant difference in design and far less material used in the MBRP.

Although not branded with the N Performance plate on the top of the tip, I swear these are the same ones I posted previouslyFrom "stay tuned" to T U N E D !!

I know these aren't cheap but between this and the upgraded mid-pipe it could be all I needFrom "stay tuned" to T U N E D !!

Totally different application than your GLI, but a guy ran a GR86 not long ago at one of our autocross events with an MBRP exhaust. I had never heard of them and it caught my interest. The quality didn't seem to bad and the sound was actually quite good. Not quite like an Neuspeed or HKS, but not bad. Due to a bit of a language barrier with the owner of the car, I couldn't quite figure out if he had an axel-back or a cat-back. I was just impressed by the deeper rumbling tone it produced vs the tinny/raspy note that seems to be popular these days.

MBRP is a Canadian company, up here it's nice to see how they have grown. They are very popular with Ford F150 crowd. Sound amazing on them. Good, solid company.

Elantra N vs Dodge Challenger R/T Hemi - YouTube

Not my car but you'll hear me say "first kill of the day". My buddy Marsin took out this Challenger R/T 6 spd. I belive he ran a 13.1-13.3 here @106 mph.

He was runnin' 30K worn Michelin Pilot Sport 4s @45 degrees and various tire psi. His best of the day, with the piggyback turned on, was 13.1@109 mph, so a 12 second pass is in there, just need some new(er) tires and some warmth.

I didn't run due to the Michelin X-Ice 's being installed but did get that 5.4 0-60 mph run later that day on them From "stay tuned" to T U N E D !!

    Re: From "stay tuned" to T U N E D !!

    ****UPDATE****

So my buddy with the same EN as me (has 20K more miles) has set up a dyno day THIS Friday. This is the same place he dyno'd in the spring where he put down 277/283 w/o using the NGS button and 283/289 using it. Now he's got a full Stillen cat-back exhaust and Stillen piggyback w/colder NGK plugs to support it. He's got an aFe open intake and aFe TIP but those aren't installed yet and will not be for the dyno, that's too bad actually.

We get 4 pulls on the Mustang dyno for $125 and its supposed to 45 and rainy this Friday, figures but apparently that doesn't matter for us. There's another car dynoing too, an STi w/COBB everything including E30 tune. He roll raced him "In Mexico" and the STi put a solid car on him but it's supposed to make 415 whp, I guess we'll see.

So what's your prediction for his EN and what do you think I'll makeFrom "stay tuned" to T U N E D !!
