Don't know if the rest of y'all are experiencing this, but every time I turn around I am finding some of my favorite establishments closed due to not being able to find workers.
Is there a secret government program that I am not aware of? How are these unemployed folks paying their bills

Just drove around for 30 minutes trying to find something to eat only to end up back home eating a can of Campbell soup

All Soup is wrong. Soup is not meant for someone that does physical labor (imo)

The thing I've noticed the most is the incredibly STUPID length of the wait times for everything from fast food to getting my meds at the pharmacy (one script took me literally WEEKS to get), plus the pharmacy I currently HAVE to use - due to my heath coverage through work, which I will have until 12/31. on 1/01 I switch to a new insurance that will let me dump the current moro...., er pharmacy.

All from lack of employees. I just don't get it. *I* was brought up to get a job/career and pay your own way until you retire & collect an EARNED pension. Or be like my uncle, who gets his pension, Social Security and STILL chooses to work at his old job, part time, whenever he FEELS like working.

That's one of the biggest things that stuck in my craw working the inner city - people with no jobs, no INTENT to get a job, living off the government and having nicer things than I do (yes, I know, THINGS aren't what matter), my health and family make me an extremely rich man, but I still busted my hump for the last 40 years to EARN what I do have.

I'm going to stop now, before I get too agitated.

How did a can of it come into your possession?

Good question. I bought a few cases in case shtf. Now I'm thinking if we get hit with a nuclear blast I'm going outside to suck in the air. This is no way to live (imo)
