Re: Conventional oil....hard to find, switch to synthetic?
NAPA still carries plenty of conventional motor oils.
While you're there, pick up a NAPA oil filter that's the same as Wix, just with a different paint job.

Lol yeah my local store had no conventional. Which is fine cuz ill jump to synthetic. But their oil prices are way higher than other places.
And ive bought their golds and platinum filters once i found out wix makes them . They were outta stock on 2 filters i needed. One of them they couldn't get at all. This world is ridiculous anymore lol

You will have no issues switching over to a blend or full synthetic. This site has great info on all lubricants if you want to check them out?

Re: Conventional oil....hard to find, switch to synthetic?
The ONLY time I had an issue with switching from conventional to synthetic was on a car which ALREADY leaked oil. When I got married, my wife's Jeep Cherokee had lots of slow drips from multiple places. When I switched to synthetic, the drips turned into more worrisome leaks, so I switched back to conventional why we tried to find and fix all of them...never totally successful, but that's a different story.
If I have a car with conventional oil, I typically make the switch to synthetic at the first oil change and never look back.

I've run AMSOIL in the Camaro since I bought it with 25K miles. It now has 148,8xx K on it and no issues.
