Re: Wow! Still on the road!
In the 90s the young lady I worked with bought a purple convertible 5 speed manual Metro.
I taught her how to do reverse donuts in the snow.
The next year at Halloween she showed up to work dressed as Cleopatra.
She also forgot to put the gear selector in gear and it rolled down the small hill into the pond.
It stayed afloat for quit awhile as it floated out to the middle and sank.
We found it very entertaining to watch that piece of junk sink.
Her, not so much, as she watched her Barbie car disappear.

I'm imagining a lot of Cleopatra makeup running down the face with tears.
Poor girl.............
It is no coincidence that man's best friend cannot talk.

Radwood all the way!
The trailer hitch is an interesting choice. Towing capacity is what, maybe 250 pounds?

I just added the picture of the back of the car and the two hitch.
Believe it or not, I would love to detail this car. And give the top the RaggTopp treatment. I saw the owner get into the car, thought about approaching him, introducing myself and asking if he would like to use his car for a detailing project down here at the Geek - but alas - all too often when I've done this the owners think you're a nut case and don't want anything to do with your offer.
There's actually a similar car, same color also a convertible I see parked out in front of the local Firehouse Mike's here in Stuart. Next time I see it I'll get some pictures to show the exact opposite condition.

When I was a kid the geo metro was my buddy's first car. He used to park it and in the winter we would get a few guys and literally push the car on the ice/snow and hide it on him.
Also, this hitched up compact has the bitchin' tail pipe to match. I almost went off the road when I saw this. Had to turn around for a photo.
