    Busted!!!

My wife busted me using the electric leaf blower that I said was crap for doing leaves, and drying my car with it. Not only did she harass me about using the "crappy" leaf blower to dry my car, she took pictures to show the neighbor how insane I was about detailing my car. THEN she said if it's good enough to dry my car with, I shouldn't have any problems using it for the LEAVES this fall. All in fun though. But I'm still NOT going to use it for leaves. LOL

I have one such leaf blower.....Ryobi.....does just fine for quick clean ups of the porch and patio, and for drying the car, but not nearly powerful enough for leaves

I have a Milwaukee blower for quick cleanups and drying the car. I found a 3d printed nozzle and shorter tube on eBay to make it easier to handle while drying the car.

    For leaves... backpack!

Never ever use it for leaves! If you must use a leaf blower to dry the car only use it to dry the car.
Debris will get in the intake when you use it for leaves and come flying out on your paint!
If you can make a "filter" and secure it to the intake this will "help" with sucking in debris.

A while ago I purchased a Metro Master Blaster 8hp and I have never looked back. (filtered air)
Yes, it was a fairly large expense. I'm a big fan of "Do it once. Do it right". It is an awesome tool!
The only challenge is that it is 20amp. I only have one 20amp outlet. Otherwise, it pops the breaker.

After a wash, I dry the entire vehicle with the Master Blaster and do not even touch it with a towel!

Hold on....a leaf blower is supposed to be used for blowing leaves and NOT drying a car? This covid thing is now getting out of hand!

I'm sure my neighbors look on in amusement and wonder what the hell I'm doing!

I had one neighbor actually count one summer how many times I washed my car ... never did tell me how many times, they probably couldn't believe it. My current neighbor just looks and shakes her head.

My neighbor said that not only am I going to ruin my cars by washing them once a week, but drying with a leaf blower or that metro blaster blower will really mess up the paint.
