For the money, can't beat Buffalo Trace. I always have some Blanton's hanging around too.

Re: The lengths for a good bourbon
I don’t love Buffalo Trace but the wife does.
For about 24-28 bucks you can get some nice small batch Jefferson or something similar.

Re: The lengths for a good bourbon
Love Blade and Bow but frequently forget its name so the wife and I refer it as Bo and Luke when talking bourbon with friends and family. My next door neighbor has two bottles of Blanton’s proving once again that unicorns do exist.
BTW: This is crack in a bottle!
Almost forgot to mention lately I’ve really enjoyed Four Roses Single Barrel and Four Roses Small Batch Select. Currently I’ve fallen for an Australian whiskey aged in red wine barrels, Starward Two-Fold...Aussie car, Aussie whiskey!

Since the topic is about the lengths
taken for a good Bourbon...somehow
that old expression: ”Killing two
birds with one stone” came to mind.

Re: The lengths for a good bourbon
I didn't buy Blanton's when I had the chance over the summer. When I finally realized what it was I went back to grab a bottle and they were sold out and I haven't seen it in stock sice then.
This is one of my new favorites, it is a finished bourbon but a bit cheaper than most I come across .

Re: The lengths for a good bourbon
There are many great craft distilleries out there and I have found some great local bourbons. Look for the ones that have the highest corn content. It’s also better when they use locals grains. My favorites are Berkshire Mountain Distilleries or Tuthilltown Distilleries. They make a great Old Fashioned.

Buffalo Trace makes Blantons... both are good but I prefer Blantons. Trace is much easier to find for me. I need to try Jefferson.

Blanton’s is one of my favorites but am having serious issues finding it up here in SE Pennsylvania.
