iPhone7
Anyone else besides me have the unfortunate experience of owning one of these?
At first, (the first 12-14 months) it was working fine.
Now, any simple function (taking a pic and sending it to another person e.g.) causes the phone to crash into a "dead battery" state. (7-9%)
It's not really dead, but the phone thinks it is until you reset it, plug it in, reset it again, and then it's magically back to the battery level you had before.
For the money this thing costs, I'm a little PO'd.
Looking into other options as we speak....

Apple is known for this and it's very well documented.

Re: iPhone7
I'm hearing it's only with the 7?

Take it to an Apple store and show them. Clearly there is something wrong with your device.

I have contacted numerous sources. Apparently, a battery replacement is only a temporary fix.
The consensus is the iPhone7 is junk.
I have always liked Apple, and checking around, the 8's have no such problem.

Had a 6S for years and never had a problem for about 8 years and now have a 10S. I'm a Apple fan and own 2 10S (wife), iMac, Mac Book Pro and a iPad.

Yup. The more I check, it's only with the 7.

Re: iPhone7
Can you publish a source for your "consensus"? I'd like to read up on those findings.

Honestly, I’m typing to you now from my iPhone 6 that works perfectly. Your issue sounds like the phone simply may simply need a new battery.
You can DIY it for about $20. One of the reasons I like Apple is because the stuff is serviceable and parts are available. You can get most of the parts for these phones on amazon for cheap.
