Anyone an HID person?
It’s a not necessarily a bad bulb.
One of the most golden and obvious rules is- Never touch is with your hands as oils from your body cause premature burnout.
Also, if your lights ever flicker, swap ballasts if possible. To diagnose the issue. Also always swap out hid (and halogen) bulbs in pairs.
I’ve run every hid bulb out there from Philips, Osram, Kensun, Xentec, Morimoto, GTR, etc etc. and man I’ve messed around from 3k-8k in various forms and I’ve learned so much. Being also a part of TRS forum, there’s wealth of information on there too.
In short terms, HIDs have come a long g way, but I’m a firm believer in NOT getting cheap crap, so much QC issues with them it’s not even worth it, not to me. But my OCDness far surpasses most.
