Not sure what Audi I'm looking at but that looks like a stock intercooler.
What engine is it and what FMIC did you go with?
Nice looking car.

The car is an S5 Sportback. Yes, that’s the stock FMIC that you’re looking at...like a dummy I didn’t take a picture of the finished Intercooler, because hands sore and tired.
This car has a 3.0L twin scroll single turbo. Stock is good for about 350hp. I went with a kind of obscure named FMIC, made by a company named Rev9. It’s much taller...goes up to where the headlight comes to a point. I’m also running a JB4 piggy back tuner. I haven’t gotten it on a dyno yet but it’s added quite the boost to the car.
Thanks for the compliment on the car. I like it a lot...now just need some time to detail it.

So something like this pic.
Thats nutty man, the thing is huge.
Looks like it covers the whole face of the radiator and there isn't a problem with normal engine cooling?
Is the install pretty simple drop in, no cutting and trimming?
I bought a Wagner for my 08 535xi and could have got basically the same thing from china(amazon) for 300 less, oh well.
A little fabrication and trans cooler relocate for me.
I got lucky MHD came around when I bought mine and didn't have to do JB4. Simple flash and go. It does make these things quite a bit snappier.

That’s the one, it’s a beast. There are a bunch of guys who have it and it doesn’t seem to causing issues with normal cooling. Coolant and oil temps are staying about the same.
The install isn’t quite drop in and go. One of the brackets is a little short so I had to use a metal spacer and a longer bolt on one side. Also the stock intercooler is held in by clips, this big guy is attached to the underside of the crash bar.
The JB4 appeals to the tweaker in me. The gains for the price are pretty cool too. So far there’s only one tune available for my car and no real data on it yet. When the major players introduce tunes and they’ve been vetted, I’ll consider a flash tune.

Kinda sorta a car thing.
Decided about time I heat the garage.
Good deal on this 5000 watt from Rural Hing. Basically $100 to the door.
Just waiting on the wire, breaker and switch then I put on my electrician hat.
