What did you do today non-detailing related?

Said I was done the last two times. Wrong. Cut grass again Sunday. It was mild here this weekend. I was not the only one. LOL. That is the last cut! Heard around Thanksgiving the weather is really going to take a downturn.

I taught some children…………..again. I don’t know if I can make it these last 4.5 years until retirement.

I mowed the lawn again today, I last did the front almost 2 weeks ago, but I had to do the back only 6 days ago. We went from the beginnings of a drought to over 3 inches of rain in less than 2 weeks.

Mowing the lawn never really ends here. I’m scheduled to do mine Wednesday. Hopefully inching closer to a two week cycle.

It's all year round here too(32°46'S 151°39'E), every 2-4 weeks in winter, summer is every week if we get normal rain, but they're predicting low rainfall this coming summer, they call it an "el Nino" event I think. Usually means the rain falls somewhere else.

Winterization today.

One of the outdoor spigots wasn't shutting off. I stacked a shut-off valve on it but temps are dropping into the 20's tonight.

Shut the water off, pulled the stem and took that to Lowe's to get a new flat washer. The old one was pretty trashed.

Cleaned up the stem with some CLR and put it back in with a new washer.

Pretty easy fix.

Then did the pressure washer. Disconnected the hose and drained it and then ran some pump saver thru it.

I went to the bank and asked the girl if they had any $2 bills. She said “sure how many were you looking to get”?
I asked if she had a stack and she went to check the vault and came back with a brand new stack of never circulated $2 bills.

These bills are so new & tight that they almost feel like a brand new deck of playing cards. Sounds like a knife on wood when you stand them up and crack them all on the table. Cold hard $2 cash.
