Re: What did you do today non-detailing related?
This past weekend I did more furniture padding for our blind dog. He hit his head on something. My girlfriend put pieces of pool noodle on the dining room chairs but they don't stay put. Either they fall off on their own or he bumps into them and then they fall off. So I designed and cut yoga mat padding for all 6 chairs with a half piece of pipe insulation along the back of the chair that is indented relative to the legs.

Still a lot of mess to clean up to get room on my side so I can park my car indoors before this season’s first big snowstorm on Friday…

I can vouch for the MR.BEAMS security lights. 8 months on the first set of batteries. When i replaced them this weekend the battery compartments were in perfect shape. So, they take the weather. No problem. Good weather seal on the compartments. And I like the fact they don't rely on solar power.

I had 14 of those starting back in 2016...I switched to all solar...I67 rated....works better for me.
I do have 3 of them that I still use.......great invention for sure

Re: What did you do today non-detailing related?
First big snow (8-14”) of the season forecast for tonight so I scrambled to clean out all the siht from my side that had been accumulating over the last few years as my old sihtboxes kept getting older and sihttier and I didn’t care about leaving them outdoors. Lots left to do, but at least there’s room for the new car, and I can charge in there too!

My daily driver is dirty and hauling materials from Home Depot…. Helping the widow of my best detailing pal (passed last summer) get her home ready to sell.
You cannot find trades people with time for interior painting. They charge a healthy price and get it everyday. I cannot let a friend pay for something I”m able to do.
