Flowmaster definetly made THE sound for 5.0's. They sound good with any aftermarket exhaust, but Flowmaster has that sound for them. And I am a Magnaflow guy, lol

Tis the season where the M3’s are starting to come out and the caring owners are paying taxes to the high RPM Gods.

Working on my second set of rod bearings so far this year at the shop. First round was an S65 E92 M3 (8400rpm 4.0V8 2011 2 door), this one’s an S54 E46 M3 Convertible (7900rpm 3.2 inline 6).

    That's ugly.
    What's the crank look like?

    Very nice.
Mine's nowhere near as nice (MN winters by previous owners did a number on it).

Since there's talk about Foxbodies, here's my Coupe on the dyno with the old engine (what I'm rebuilding).
This has Flowmasters Force II (3 chambers) and off-road X-pipe. Gives it's a higher pitch sound.

And because burnouts are cool, here's my previous, clapped out 85.
Engine and transmission that is in my coupe came from this car.
This video had my old supercharger (sounds like a turbo).
This was the finale of a much longer burnout video.

Where did you Dyno it at? I'd eventually like to do something different with mine. I've debated a coyote swap or 03-04 cobra swap.

But I love the sound of a Windsor motor.

Sacrificial part did it's sacrificin'. Surprisingly fine. Visible hairlines, but nothing you can feel with a nail. I'll jump on Tapatalk again later and throw up the picture of all the bearings and the crank journal.

I can't remember the name of the place, it was down south-west of Minneapolis (I think beyond Shakopee).
It was a dyno day someone set up. 2 pulls and done, no tuning or anything.

    Roger that.
Sounds like it's common...or at least known occurrence?
