New Shoes Installed. Also installed a new battery since the old one was 5yrs old and while still going okay, I didn't want any issues. Now I can clean up and coat the wheels and may look into some sidebars or a step to help dress it up a bit. Not sure yet.

AFTER: I'm definitely happy with the look

Does he know about it right now? And I assume he’s not going to be able to drive it until June? Man you’re hooking him up, wish I had it so easy as a youngster. Lol

He does. He was very close to getting a 188k miles 2008 Camery with a 2.4l 4 banger but then I discovered this beauty. He's got his temps so he's been using my car and my wife's CUV to practice. Now he gets to drive the Jeep which should be fun. It doesn't have Cameras, ABS, traction control or stability, etc but it does have part-time 4wd and all of "RAW" feeling of a real-vehicle thus outside it not being a manual, he will actually "learn" to drive.
We'll be in a safe place tonight when he takes it out with me. There's a huge movie theater shopping area that is like a small city where we can practice road work and even some minor slides, etc. in safety. I'll be going to Mid-Ohio Raceway with him in it as they have a 1 and 3 day course on driver safety, etc. including slides and skid recovery. Bonus is you can use both their vehicles and ours. I'm requiring he complete and pass the 3 day course before he hits the road alone.

The very 1st time I drove a car was when the man from the traffic school that I paid for with my own money showed up in a Lexus of all vehicles... He was like “ok get behind the wheel and drive to the DMV”
I drove straight to the DMV and took my driving test and passed.
