    AC'd the garage/shop!

WOW! I should've done this YEARS ago! What a game changer!!! It's been ridiculously hot as of late and I just melt while doing a job.

I installed a 1.5 ton TRANE mini-split system and...WOW, what a difference. I can now keep it at a pleasant 77 degrees with practically zero humidity while working. I had some insulation blown into the attic space above me to help with keeping the heat out and the cool in. My doors are insulated. This system will pull it down to 65 degrees in the heat of the day! (probably lower, I haven't seen how cool it will go yet)

Anyway, what a relief and a huge help!

Controlling as many variables in your detailing will only make your finished product that much better. Plus that AC will probably save you a bunch of time in the long run. Less breaks, work faster, work on those 100 plus degree days where you may have taken the afternoon off to wait for a cool down.

Looking forward to some cool new reviews !

Awesome Scott! I did the same albeit not as nice a unit as yours and if nothing else keeps the humidity to decent levels .

Thumbs up Re: AC'd the garage/shop!

How cool can you get it? I ask because 77 seems a little warm but then again, that's probably cool for you guys down there. I would probably like to shave another 10 degrees off but either way, you officially have the "coolest" detailing garage on the forum, all aspects of it!!

    Thanks all!!!!

Didn't either of them were WI company's! LOL

Klasse: That's like 20 degrees below ambient so I'm good with that, it will pull down into the 60's he said, but I haven't cranked her down that cold yet!

    Appreciate all the comments!
