Is that indicative of Honda owners or the paint they use on US-made models?

Has to be the paint that they use. I see so many Accords and Civics with cloudy patches makes me never want to own a Honda. Hoods, roofs, trunks and the back pillars. It is either too soft, not enough UVA/UVB additives, too thin or most likely a combination of all 3. I shy away from heavy compounding on Hondas.

Shame that a car that could last you 15-20 years has a paint job that will start to go bad in about 7-8 years.

I think that new Honda Paint is some of prettiest around. Usually only mild orange peel

Almost took a pic of an Accord yesterday just for giggles when I was at the grocery store. 95% of CC failure in Florida is Honda Accords, Civics, Toyota Camry's and Corolla's regardless of color.

Those are all the US-made models. I suspect it may have to do with EPA regs. In Japan they have no such issues. Do you ever see Japan-sourced Toyotas or Hondas do this? Prius, older Yaris, many Lexus, Older MDX are made and painted in Japan.

We have a silver 2003 Camry and a white 2001 Accord. I bought both of these from the same original owners that did Not maintain the appearance anywhere close to what we do. Neither one has any sign of CC failure. While I have seen many accords and Civics with horrible CC failure, neither of mine do and they we're probably never washed with anything more than dish soap until I got them. Maybe these were made in Japan? IDK
