Not me personally, but my uncle has collected/dealt Hot Wheels for decades. He's made some good money doing so.

Hot Wheels and other die casts that peak my interest. I love them.

Not sure. Haven't really talked to him in a long time. He's kind of an assh*le. Lol

Still have a rather sizeable collection of diecast VWs, Jada, Hotwheels, Matchbox, Fun Ho, Green Light, etc etc - always adding too. I haven't counted them for a while but at last count there were several hundred . . . .

I always loved Hotwheels & Matchbox from as far back as I can remember & the love of VWs came later in life. My Dad & I started collecting 1/18th scale cars & motorcycles, other scales too but mainly 1/18th. Hundreds & hundreds of diecasts of all different makes & models. I stopped collecting after my Dad passed in 2005 (apart from the dubs) & around mid 2011 started selling the collection to fund the opening of our detailing shop.

I WISH I had my old Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars from the day. I had a TON of them. My dad worked for GE and helped develop the battery that was used in the Sizzler cars. I got to go to his plant and pick out a race track set before they were on the market.

I have lots of Matchbox and Hot Wheels, along with Corgi and Dinky vehicles (larger scale), from when my brother and I were kids. My son was not interested in them much, so they are waiting on if/when he has kids. They will be 50+ years old by then!

I buy matchbox and hot wheels for the my two boys. But secretly I enjoy them too. I buy one to their 20 and it stays in dad's collection. Best value in the toy department by a long shot.
