Caught a break out here. Snowed from about 3-6 am, then iced for a while & right over to rain. A LOT of rain. Measured wind gust up to 68 mph. About 4 pm, it stopped. Stepped outside, and it was 44 degrees and eerily calm. That was quickly replaced with a 40 mph west wind and 20 degree temps. All that rain is now ice.
It is no coincidence that man's best friend cannot talk.
Wasn't terrible... the freezing rain and back to snow was the worst part of yesterday. Made things very heavy when shoveling. Could have been worse.
