Re: Just for curiosity
Rotella T6 5w40.
Of all the name brands, including the expensive Red Line, the turbo boxer seems to operate smoothest with it.

Re: Just for curiosity
I ran rotella T6 in my subaru with great results
Ran mobil1 for 12k in my camaro. Changed it to AMSOIL
I will never run anything else in any vehicle I own. I've been changing my oil on my motorcycles and cars/trucks all my life. Never observed such a drastic improvement.
I immediately noticed improved revving, reduced oil consumption, improved mileage, motor just seems properly lubricated COMPLETELY.
I can't recommend it enough AMSOIL AMSOIL AMSOIL

Great oil AMSOIL is. No argument there. Can't convince myself the cost of AMSOIL is worth it over say Mobil 1 Extended Performance or Pennzoil Ultra Platinum when changing oil every 7 to 10k miles yearly.

Just for curiosity
Regular Pennzoil 10W 30.
179,000 miles and no leaks. [which is pretty rare for a Cadillac].

Re: Just for curiosity
Mobil 1 or Castrol 0W-30.
Not to divert but can anyone recommend a favorite vendor for analysis? I have heard Blackstone is decent.
