Garage Help!
Hey guys.. First post here. Just bought a house and have a small two car garage. Can fit one car comfortably down the middle, two but as well.. Just a tight fit. I'm looking to add LED shop lights to the roof of the garage, I also want to patch up the walls and paint them a nice bright white color for the lights to reflect off of. I also would like to epoxy the floor and then add a work bench, and shelving and hang tools. What's the best way to go about prioritizing? Lights first? Then walks then floor or vice Versa? Also.. Recommend any brands colors for the paint? How about the LED lights? Thanks in advance!!

Welcome to AG!
I'd suggest a check of the wiring and insulation (if you plan to heat or cool it). Many garages have a single 15A circuit for everything, and that circuit may have some other loads on it, such as exterior lighting. If you want to upgrade the wiring or insulation, you'll want to do that before other improvements. You don't want to install new lights, only to find that your shop vac trips the breaker if the lights are on at the same time.

Re: Garage Help!
I am in the process of doing that now. The lights I am using are some 70watt LEDs (5600 lumens a piece). My son and I have done the drywall and painted I am now doing some wiring. either this fall or next spring I will patch the floor and coat it.
Here is a link to a slide show of how it has been progressing.

Re: Garage Help!
I listed the lumens wrong. They are rated at 6500 not 5600.
Here are a couple shots of before and after if the link don't work. None of the pictures really show how bright it is in there.
Maybe this link will. Garage 2 by Ancient_11 | Photobucket

^ Looks good. Insulating the overhead door would be beneficial, too.

Re: Garage Help!
Costco has some nice double-tube LED fixtures that are not too expensive. Painting the walls white will make a big difference. I used an inexpensive eggshell finish interior latex from Lowes or HD. IMO, there's no need to buy expensive paint, but others may have different experiences.
