Would you have this fixed? Wait??
Was doing a rinseless wash today and noticed these on both sides. Would you have the dealer fix? Wait? I'm a little worried that if they try to fix it, they will mess it up more or screw something else up.

IMO:
Having the Dealership to document these
defects is the first step toward getting them
satisfactorily corrected.
But...that doesn't necessarily mean you
gotta get them fixed by their paint & body
shop crew.
Let them know that:
Negotiations are now open.
{Thinking out loud:
Is there a Chevy "satisfaction-rep"
that posts over on the CF?)

First show it to them, so that it is documented. There are no signs of impact, and it's occurring in the same spot on both sides. I'm betting there may have been a previous repair there, before you took delivery of the car. If the dealership uses the term 'touch up'...it's on

Will definitely get it documented. There is one on the SF board. And I posted it there as well.
This is on the front quarter vent areas (both), the way the vents flex, I wonder if this might not be a somewhat common problem.

Certainly looks like a structural defect maybe based on local temperature fluctuations?

If you open the back hatch of your car is there paint rubbing off there to?? It seems to be only on the white cars. I have owned many new cars and I have to say that this has been the worst for paint issues.
