paintless dent repair?
Anybody have experience with this? How is the quality and how much does it usually cost. I have a couple of small (about the size of a quarter) dings on the lower part of the bed on the pickup I just bought and they are kind of bugging me.

No experience here, but it seems like paintless dent removal is the way to go!

Most PDR's charge about $100 for a dent to be removed. If you have several most times they lower the price alittle. It is very hard to tell there was even a dent there when they are done.

I had several small dime and nickel size dents on each of my Truck Doors when I first purchased it used. A friend of mine suggested a friend of his that does this sort of work. Called the Dent Doctor. He charges $100 per panel and he did a wonderful Job. Big difference can't notice any dents. I was very pleased. JoeD

I offer to arrange that for my clients..gotta Mustang this weekend that's gonna get worked on by the PDR guy. I pay him cash and get good prices. He uses either tools or a glue gun (not as good, but some spots are very hard to get at). Great way to make a car look new again.

ive had it done twice on my tahoe and the slk320
my buddy from Sterling BMW in Newport said they have have a 3rd party guy that normally charges 75$ a dent...theres a few cool techniques which sometimes its simple as going through the window sil or door panel and just popping it back into place...
i had one probably size of a 5" backing plate and it came out flawless on my tahoe
and one on the corner of the fender on the slk (which is pretty thick metal) and he was able to work some magic on that

One of my cousins works for dent wizard, one of their top guys, handles a lot of stuff at Auctions like Barret and others in FL. I've seen him take some dents out that I could not believe would be fixed.

The only I dont like about it is they sometimes have to drill a tiny hole in the door jamb or trunk jamb to get to the dent. Otherwise its a great system when done correctly.

they repaired a small bruise in a couple of minutes on truck. Amazing and no cutting or holes. Best part is was a freebie, as they do alot of work for my dad at dealership and came to the house to boot.
