New Flex XCE??? Updated 3401???
Along with there new XFE-7 seems as they have something else?
Saw this posted on another page. Apparently it's a revised 3401 but won't replace it. Same 8mm forced rotation.
The XCE is lighter, more quiet, smoother. It's has a lot of the PE14 features built in like the way it is cooled.

Now that would be nice. Now if we can get a 5" backing plate to fit 5.5" pads....

Would love to get some specs and info on this thing. Where it fits in their lineup and what not. Is it me or is the info coming out of SEMA this year very sparse, untimely, and incomplete this year? Whatever the case, let's see more!

That has my interest more than the new XFE! ... as a replacement for my 3401.

Hopefully this has been mentioned enough times for them to listen.

Everyone is stealing my pic hahahahahaha!!!!
I will say I am in love with this machine but Bob and Chris both want to emphasize that the XCE is NOT replacing the 3401.

Hi Evan,
If you have the information could you please explain what Bob means by XCE is not replacing the 3401. Both are 8mm and forced rotation?.

Which means exactly what, though? Is it a better machine with better features and the 3401 suppose to be more of just an entry now? Is the XCE positioned below the 3401?

My source who is at SEMA and tried the XCE said it's 15mm forced!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The 3401 is still going to be around as it's such a huge work horse in the industry. Not just retailers like us use the 3401 but production shops and and body shops use the 3401.
The new XCE is made for the market of the DIY and the weekend warrior to make using the forced rotation a little easier.
Still these machines will be used by many and when you get the chance to test it out you will see the difference

Check your source mark I have been demoing the XCE most of the day and it's 8mm throw while the XFE is the 15 mm free spinning.
Both new polishers look very identical.
If you have any questions I will do my best to get answers
