Hydro2 lite is ready to ship!

Re: Hydro2 lite is ready to ship!
I just have a couple questions. Just spraying without spreading it with a foam applicator, how would one guarantee total coverage?
And it seems like to guarantee total coverage you'd end up spraying a lot of product and maybe using too much. Interesting concept, but I'd need to see a demo of it before buying into this one.
Maybe next year at DF 2016.

Re: Hydro2 lite is ready to ship!
Assuming it works just as regular Hydro2, it does get coverage. Between the fine mist, and then spraying it with water, the coverage does spread out. Its quite magical actually.
This thread is a great pictoral example. The paint was flat with no protection. Sprayed Hydro2 on a wet surface, and the photo displays how Hydro begins to dissipate the water, and then after blasting it with water, how the water beads.

Seems like a real bargain when compared to the undiluted price of Hydro2 at $120.00 per liter.

Note that this product can also be used in the traditional "spray sealant" type of fashion... that is spray onto a dry surface, and wipe off.

I guess the benefit would be if you don't have a hose or good strong water pressure to use Hydro2 in the normal fashion, you can use it as a WOWO.

Benefit? Not really in terms of performance or anything like that.
For me, I have never really used HydrO2 on a coated vehicle because the surface was already so hydrophobic that you couldn't create a wet enough surface to apply the HydrO2 to. For this reason, Reload was always the better option.... though it is considerably more expensive. Now that H2L can be applied in a similar manner to Reload, to me it is now more functional.
