The BF and CQ are both Quartz based coatings.
Thanks Mike, another question, my garage is open but it doesn't hit the sun. Is there a problem that I must have some extra careful applying it on the outside?
Thanks again for all your help.

If i were you, i'd tried to find a completely closed space, you don't want anything getting stuck or something settling on the coating in an open air environment, it'd be a waste of work. IMO
Back to the full-time grind.

Just as Chris mentioned above, I would find a completely enclosed garage in that you have control over the area around you.

Thank you Chris and Mike, so do you think it will be safe on a public closed garage with some good light?

Re: *NEW* BLACKFIRE Crystal Coat Paint Coating!
Just bought this on the BOGO. Watched the video and sounded so easy to apply, now I'm reading here it's a nightmare.... Wonder if I just wasted 40 dollars. I know you get what you pay for but this is my intro to the coating world so I wanted to go cheap to learn proper application techs

Does anyone know if there are certain batch numbers that were/are problematic? Just got my kit today and the stamp reads "15089".

2019 Acura RDX A-Spec - Black/Red; 2019 Acura TLX Base 2.4L - MSM/Black
2008 CRV EX - Black/Black 2003 Accord EX V6 - Black/Tan

That's an interesting thought. I already tossed my bottle, so I can't help there.
I wonder if it is a bad batch, or if the seals on some bottles were not set properly which allowed for the product to start aging before they ever reached a customer.

I don't know if that is a batch number but my problematic bottle which I bought in August (I think) has those numbers on it also.

Re: *NEW* BLACKFIRE Crystal Coat Paint Coating!
My question, if this stuff is so problematic, why hasn't Blackfire done anything to change the formula? Why does autogeek still push this stuff to customers?
I'll be trying it this weekend when it arrives. Hopefully it's not as rough as some have stated
