Re: Introducing the DP Turbo Car Dryer! 6.5 Peak Horsepower Blower for Drying Your Car!

i used mine today once again and i know that some have had problems with the nozzle blowing off. i really haven't had much of that problem as long as you twist the front nozzle/handle on securely. btw, it's on sale right now - pick one up now if you're on the fence about it!

Tim at Shop Vac mentioned twisting the hose when you attach it to the blower. He said this creates more friction. Also, don't pull on the hose or else that will remove it from the blower more easily.

Just did a slight mod to my blower this weekend as I was dealing with the issue of the hose flying off. Put a small tap screw in the housing and into the hose.

No more issues with the hose. I had tried numerous things to keep it in but it just wouldn't stay. I also added a strap that I had lying around. It makes the blower so easy to use now.

Just ordered it with the 20% off which brought it under $100.

Anyone interested in my Metro Master Blaster 8HP? hehe. I brought that without realizing that it needed 20amp so it hasn't gotten much use.

Did the price just go up? The site is currently showing a price of $149.99. With the 20% discount, that's still $120...

While the DP products were on roll back it was $120. Plus the VIP code @ 20% brought it under $100

If you're having issues with your hose staying on, send me a PM with your order number or email address. This issue was limited to a small batch, and can be fixed by replacing a component of the hose.
