Mothers now sells mini-replacements (2 per box) which work well for wheels as the ball gets quite coated with black tarnish. I find a quick twist with a set of pliers (robo-grips) is all that is needed to unwind ball and replace with another on the go.

Oh if it was only that easy! I plan on getting the replacement pack for round 2.

    Red face

That was a quite a turn-a-round on that front wheel, Al!
Thanks for the great review, I've been looking at PowerBalls for over a year & now you've talked me into adding one to my next order!

PS - I just have to compliment you on your signature line, too!!

Great review..I have resisted buying one but the proof is in the pics. BTW, what an AWESOME m/c!! I've got a 1400 Intruder that I've had since 2000..it goes pretty good ( afew mods here and there), but yours must just smoke!!

Using the Mother's Mini PowerBall saved a ton of time too. I finished both rims in about 2.5 hours. If I had a bike jack it would have been a lot easier. The hardest part of this project was inching the bike around my garage to rotate the wheels. That bike is one heavy beast when you only have to move it a few inches at a time.
It's much easier to handle at higher rates of SPEED.

I love my mini ball. I was tired of bruised finger tips and scratched and bleeding knuckles.

    Nice job on the rims.
