    Re: Permanon

I used the Supershine a few years ago after taking part in a Group Buy (Detailing World). The product is incredibly easy to apply, it is as easy as washing a panel. I was underwhelmed by the durability but others seem to really like it

I believe I have heard Permanon has fixed the durability issue but I do not know first hand.

    Re: Permanon

I have used Permanon quite a bit, I build custom inground swimming pools for a living and use these coatings for the walls and steps to prevent wear and tear on surfaces caused by salt and chlorine. I have also use similar if not same (renamed) Permanon coatings for automobile use. IMO there are better coatings on the market. Cquartz is currently my favorite so far. I have used Optimum, and Gtecniq.

If the durability has improved then this is good news. There was a theory in the UK that there was a problem with the batch used in the Group Buy as this is where most of the complaints about durability seem to arise.

It was and presumably still is a very very easy to product to apply. Permonan also sell some very good chemical cleaners but I am not sure how widely available they are sold outside of Europe.

In my testing thus far, it has held it's own against BFWD, DG aquawax and Dodo White Diamond though (2) two bucket washes over 25 days with lots of road salt and spray.

I bought Platinum in the DW group buy two summers ago, I had it last about 3 weeks with pressure washing 3-4 times a week. My application method-Add 1 teaspoonful to my foam cannon resovoir, fill it with RO water and apply until it was used up. NO Just and

    Re: Permanon

like it as its so easy to use and a very notable difference after application. I would say durability is weeks, but then again no rubbing and nothing to apply other than a quick spritz.
