Matt,
That looks very interesting. If its as hard as they claim maybe it will help a little with very fine swirls.

I knew it wouldn't be long before most companies were offering their own versions of these hard nano coatings....

True but I think this says "Sealant" not coating. But the description does sound like a coating.

Actually, Sonax was one of the first companies to come out with a paint coating - their Nano Lack been available in Europe for several years now. It's only recently that products like Opti-Coat and CQuartz have become available in the US retail market, but GTechniq, Nanolex, G'Zox, and yes, Sonax have been out in Europe for a bit longer.

looking at the link that was included in the original post durability is not so hot. says up to 9 months of protection. opticoat and cqaurtz have both proven much more durable for me .

-I will actually believe that this Sonax product, as well many of their other products, are: "The real deal nano"! Hope I'm not incorrect in my assessment.
-That way...This product might just be a real good car-care product, also.

Re: Sonax NanoPro Premium Nano Coating!?
Hello everybody
Nano technology based long lasting sealant for paintwork or painted plastic components. The paintwork is protected by a coating of modified fluorocarbon nano particles, which are as hard as glass. It freshens up the colours intensively, has a dirt repellent effect, and has an outstanding droplet run off effect.
Thanks a lot

Re: Sonax NanoPro Premium Nano Coating!?
It does not sound very hard to me, glass is 5.5.
Both OptiCoat and SystemX claim they are at 7 hardness.
