So is this better than the Blackfire Wet Diamond Polymer Spray?

Both perform equally well, but I find the Blackfire shine tough to beat. I think you will start seeing the "fast flash" technology incorporated into more quick detail sprays/spray sealants in the future as it makes them fool proof.

So a spray sealant on steroids? Would this outlast Blackfire's Crystal Seal?

Blackfire Crystal Seal is a stand alone spray sealant, so it's going to have an advantage in terms of durability.

I'll have to pick some up..

BTW, I want to get some of this but am trying to hold out on placing an order until I come down for Detail Fest. Any chance you guys will still have this in stock, or do you think it will be on back order by then?

So long as Chemical Guys can supply us, which I'm confident they can, you'll be able to pick up V7 in both 16 and 128 ounce sizes when you're down here for Detail Fest.

But be warned, this product can streak from applying too much and also cooler outside temps.

I just wanted to add something here, when I applied Hybrid V7 I applied it to bare paint which is something else that could cause the streaking. When applying it over existing protection you shouldn't see streaks.

Does anybody know how comparable V7 is to DoDo Red Mist Tropical?

Red Mist is great too and a little goes a long way. With HV7 you can use it as a daily QD if you wish or use it as a drying aid. I usually reserve Red Mist for a special boost on a clean car...much like I do BF Poly Spray. All of these are "comparable" and all 3 are excellent.

Or maybe it's part of AG's master plan: trying to subtly influence us to demote our good towels downwards so we buy more towels! I, for one, am not that easily fooled, sir!
