Re: Vapamore Steamers
anyone know if the guarantee covers use of tap water? or if you have to use distilled for it.....i know hard water can cause lime/calcium deposits on heating element causing it not to heat or heat slowly and for that i believe you can use CLR just rinse it real good....

Re: Vapamore Steamers
Vapamore steam cleaners?
I used to own a Vapamore MR100 steam cleaner until recently...when it went to my trash can.
First of all, the accessories were of very poor quality, I did not use it very often and the plastic broke on a few of them. Not only that, they did not hold very well and would easily come loose when steaming, this is not only very annoying, it can also be dangerous since we all know steam is very hot and can burn you.
Secondly, the boiler stopped working after having used the steamer maybe 10-15 times, this shows how cheap the parts are. It should have lasted at least a few years with occasional use.
The times I actually used it to detail a car and remove salt stains from carpets, it took forever. A REAL STEAM CLEANER will produce steam at a temperature over 300 degrees, not 210-220 like the Vapamore.
Another odd thing, is that there is no drain valve at the bottom so all the calcium in the water will just build up, this makes absolutely no sense.
So now I find myself having spent 300$ and I have no steamer.
Do yourself a favor, either invest in a good quality steamer, which usually starts at around 800$, or don't bother with this poor quality made in China machine.

I may have to entertain my curiosity and try it out.
If you do, please write a review. I feel the same way as you!! I don't want to go buy a cheap one and it ends up being a POS. I did this with the BISSLE LITTLE GREEN and it works ok, but I would love to see a real hot water extractor vs. BLG.

CEE DOG writes awesome reviews, however I can tell you these steamers are very poor quality and for 300$ they are not that cheap.

Re: Vapamore Steamers
I considered one when I was in the market for a steamer and talked to a rep for Vaporclean on the phone. I was told that a steam cleaner such as Vapamore and others like it that have plastic exterior parts and steamers in that category usually have a life expectancy of about 2 years at the most. I chose to wait until I had the money to buy one that was more expensive and was better quality. To each his/her own, and since I'm not an expert in this field, who am I to say?. Good luck with your choice whatever it is.

Re: Vapamore Steamers
Looked at one and it just felt flimsy to me. The attachments felt very light and easy to break. I did not get a chance to use it, but it did not sktrike me as the one i want. The biggest thing that bugged me is that when the water runs out, you have to let the unit cool for a while before filling it back up.
I am goining with my original plan and buying the Kärcher twin tank model.
