    Question...

Have any of you heard of "Black Cherry Cleaner Glaze"? I used it in Illinois at the dealership, and now that I'm cleaning on my own... I'd like your opinion on a good glaze or polish for black cars.

    Re: Question...

Never heard of that specfic glaze, but most of the quality polishes that are discussed on here will look great on black

Regarding glazes, Meguiar's Show Car Glaze (#7) and Hand Polish (#81) look great on black cars.

I have never heard of that glaze. I do have some Danase Wet Glaze that gives an Awesome shine. Has anyone tried any products from Detailking? They have a Cherry Wax thats very impressive!

    Re: Question...

A fellow employees wife just bought a Benz. He asked me about a product called Xzilon. The dealership wants $800 to apply it to the finish! I Googled the product, and it states that dealers will charge between $500 to $800 to apply this Xzilon. There's not much info on the product itself. Have any Geekers heard of this or used it?

it is probably just like many dealer sealants, with an average durability, $50 a gallon stuff, that goes strainght into their profit. I really doubt that they will use Zaino ZFX, therefore I wouldn't expect great durability out of it either. Botton line - tell them to find someone else this stupid to pay for that.
Do you know how much detailing stuff you can get for $800?
