It was only a matter of time till we saw car wash pods. Good call on Griots part. Premeasured and ready to go.

I'm luke warm on the pods. They would be convenient. Not sure they reduce wasted product. That part just sounded a little infomercial-ish. I would usually make up 3 gallons. The pods make up to 4. So each wash would be a 1/3 more car wash than needed. They could just package it in a bettix bottle and then measuring is easy.

Why haven’t they made a new and improved California Duster? You’d think they would’ve figured something out after all these years.

I’d be interested in a microfiber version of the duster
Treat it like it's the only one in the world.

It’s 2023. It should be made of Graphene with a Carbon Fiber handle with LED’s for nighttime dusting and of course outdoor use friendly with no scratching or my money back.

After seeing what those pods do in a washing machine, I will not be at all interested in using a detailing specific version.

What do they do? I've never used them just due to cost vs a bottle of liquid detergent.

Quite often the packaging doesn't fully dissolve, which leaves a gloopy mess around the door seal (front loader). Same happens in a dishwasher. I say stick with liquid.

Off topic for those pods probably over-dose in a laundry washer.
If you don't do it often, I highly implore anyone with a laundry washer to do the longest hottest cycle with bleach on one cycle and maybe another load with some citric acid.....
You would be shocked if one was to see what *can* build up on the outer drum unseen to the naked eye
