I liked the video. Will be great to hear the feedback when people get their hands on it on here. Very curious how it compares to the Flex cordless from folks here.

OMG, I thought since Rupes was first with the iBrid Nano, I thought they were going to roll right out in short order with other cordless polishers. When was that, like 8 years ago? So instead of being first, seems they are last with large cordless machines.
Or did they come out with a 3" machine a year or two ago? I"ve been out of the loop.

I've been waiting for Rupes to release cordless. How much are they going to cost, though...
Any chance anyone is able to list those detail shops commenting at the end?

Re: SEMA 2023/2024 New Products
cordless tools are (usually) more expensive than the corded versions and are an ongoing costs with battery replacements (no way of knowing how long they will last) which usually ranges from $50-$150 a piece. sometimes even the polisher or perhaps the charger may have issues at some point right after the warranty expires (not always but it figures as luck would have it, right?) which adds to the costs even more. just something to consider (depending on your usage situation) with any cordless tool...

COST aside, while they are the same tool in function, the usage is different....
In the realm of a polisher, cordless, it's all about the ERONOMICS. Yes, battery weight - tool balance comes into play. But having not married to a cord, you will use it in finite different angle of how you hold it, etc that you would normally not do with a corded. I don't have much usage time with my cordless polishets but to compare how I use Grinders on cordless vs corded, I can easily say it has changed and improved workflow due to just doing things I would normally never do or how I hold the tool that is corded.
