Because a lot of people want the latest and greatest or fanciest thing. Nothing wrong with that but I for one am going to keep my cardboard.

$30 for 1? I have a gravel driveway. If appyling outside I usually just roll the vehicle back a little bit to get at the bottom. I imagine that will continue. Or some cardboard as mentioned, never even thought of that.

After I read the comment about "I guess I should stop using cardboard" I decided to get a tirebib. It's a generous size, rolls up when not needed and comes with a storage bag.

Once my cardboard wears out or simply gets way too tired looking to use, then maybe I’ll consider one of these

Years ago I probably would have bought one of these, too. But now reading this my first reaction was "oh great, another thing to roll up and find a place to store", not to mention it will get full of tire dressing over time and be messy to roll up and store, and eventually will have to be cleaned. At this point in my life, using an old Amazon box that I can just throw out when it gets soiled seems like a lot better idea, but that's just me.

I’m going to remember to fish the cardboard out of the bin before recycling day

No, no, fresh unused cardboard that is in the recycle bin. Cardboard with dressing on it goes in the trash
