I'm trying to figure out why the felt tip gets dirty after 2-3 sessions, thus making the spray pattern horrible and rendering the tool unusable till its swapped out. Doesn't matter if it's my Foam 9 or Pro2. The Pro2 is only used with Brake Buster and distilled water too

Yea I usually put my OCD aside after trying to inflate that Hummer. But on my own car the bike pump works fine because I check my tire pressure with a digital gauge about twice per month and it usually stays @32psi. and when it needs air it’s only very little.
It just bugs me when I dress tires and sending them away knowing the person’s getting horrible gas milage or an awful ride over something as simple as incorrect tire pressure. Most people never bother to check that stuff or even know what psi their tires should be at.

Are you able to turn it around by soaking it / flushing it with hot water, or switching to an opposite product (IE: acidic if last one was alkaline)?
Just curious!

Well even turning it around still has thr dirty side but you could scrape it but it's just easier to replace actually.

Sorry, poor choice of words. Meant “turn around” as in the performance of, not the physical positioning.
How much are the felts? Do you have to buy whole kits or can you get just that part?

No worries and yes, you can buy a pack of them for something like $15 for 10 or 20, can't remember how they come. It's easy to swap it out but just remember how the tip assembly goes back together as there's an o-ring in there and it's VERY important to how it works!

That was a prblem on old 1.5 foamers i have. Do you have 2.0? Maybe the switched felt. My foam pro 12 has been alright sitting there with AF.
Try filling and spray out a whole container with just really hot water.

I'm not sure which version I have but I a I'll say my one IK Foamer only sprays Griot's Garage Poly Gloss and never had to change out the felt filter. I'm going to try the super hot water and maybe some vinegar too.
Nothing is worse than getting that Foam 9 pumped up and ready to go to only have it dribble out, it's a real gut punch because I'm so looking forward to foaming the car because it does such a great job!
