    I have not.

But I doubt it would be "better".

Even DG "AquaWax" works better as a wipe on/off product IMO.

    Paul

I have seen spray on to a panel, wipe off, and buff

    or

Spray onto a towel or applicator, wipe on, then wipe off with a second towel and buff

    Either of those “better”

    Thoughts?

I’ve tried as a drying aid and worked well but did need to add a final buff due to some streaks.

Myself, I will just quickly and very lightly spray the panel then wipe & buff.

    Thanks Paul

I asked because the very best way I found to apply Megs Ceramic Wax was totally off label so I was wondering if you guys had some tricks up your sleeve on this product

I am not comparing the 2

    Just thinking out loud

    Cheers

    lol

It’s no secret, it’s from Brian at Apex

Roger (Klasse) told me about it at just about the same time

It’s simply slightly dampening a microfiber applicator and spraying just a couple of small sprays on the applicator and then wiping it on dry clean paint like it was wax

Do a quarter of a panel and then wipe and buff

The water on the applicator makes it do it’s thing, a catalyst so to speak I guess

I have done this on paint and wheels and it works great and uses barely any product

There were so many stories from guys using an entire bottle for an initial application that somebody figured out a better way

Part of the story is how absolutely terrible the instructions are on the bottle unless they changed them

For follow up on wheels I used it cut 1:2 with DI water misted on and rinsed off (also from Klasse)

I know Megs came out after the fact and talked about an initial application by a similar method rather than starting out with hosing down your car with product and then rinsing it off

They added an updated or extra video ad well covering the need for an initial base coat so to speak

I think it’s a good but very misunderstood product

Now that I have a bottle of Griots Ceramic AIO and some of their ceramic speed detailing spray I figured I would heed the advice you have tried to pound into my thick head and go Griots

Yes, I’m coming out of the closet…

Well don't take my word over Roger's. (Klasse)

He'll drive out here to LI, kick my a$$, and make me reimburse him for the tolls. (Both ways).
