“It is what we <should have> thought it was!” and that’s OK. Can’t really fault the bottle for marketing “coating” to average Joe’s. Can you imagine the mainstream complaints Mothers would get if this was a true coating lite for average Joe, then Joe finds out bottle hardens in 6 months and any bit of overspray permanently causes sandpaper grit texture to whatever it touches?
I'm a little late to the party but that post right there is a bingo to sum up this entire thread.

It is not a bad product but I wish it had more longevity. It goes on easy but it lasts for only a couple of months.

I agree, not a bad product at all. Mothers touted it as lasting 12 months and it barely lasted me 1 month. I was hoping to get at least 6 months durability. I hoping the new TW stuff lasts 6 months.

I plan on using CMX on my winter wheels (OEM) and will apply it every wash, maybe mix in my Meg's HCW diluted @ 4:1 every other wash, something to that effect

Sorry, didn't mean it to sound like that, I have a problem making myself clear lately. What I mean't was one time, after a wash, using CMX and then next time around using Meg's HCW. I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed
