Specially engineered to work with the RUPES LK 900E Mille Polisher!
When the RUPES development team was working on their newest addition to the RUPES polisher line-up, the RUPES BigFoot LK 900E Mille Gear Driven Polisher, they knew that in order to make their offering the best, they had to ensure that every aspect of the system was well thought out. They knew a gear driven machine has a higher torque output and generated more heat than a standard dual action polisher and the corresponding accessories would need to maximize the machine’s performance. Enter the RUPES Mille Foam Pads!
The RUPES Mille Foam Pads are made from the same foam as the other RUPES pads, keeping their uses consistent.
|
RUPES Coarse Blue Mille Foam Pad-
This pad is the first step in the Rupes Big Foot Polishing System. The Blue Coarse Foam Pad is very aggressive in its construction and was designed to be used with a cutting compound. This pad is capable of removing up to 1500 grit sanding marks on fresh paint. Swirls, light scratches, water spots and other paint imperfections will be effortlessly removed with this pad. Always follow this pad with a less aggressive pad/polish combination to maximize gloss and surface smoothness. |
|
RUPES Fine Yellow Mille Foam Pad -
The Fine Yellow Foam Pad was designed to remove light swirl marks, holograms, clay-induced marring, and other light paint imperfections. This pad finishes exceptionally well considering the mechanical polishing ability that it provides. |
|
RUPES Ultra Fine White Mille Foam Pad -
The Ultra Fine White Pad is exceptionally soft in its construction and was designed to maximize gloss and clarity before applying a wax or sealant. The Ultra Fine White Pad will finish flawlessly on any paint system when used with a high quality polish. |
RUPES Mille Foam Pads are available in 140 mm (5.5 inches) and 165 mm(6.5 inches) and should be used with the corresponding backing plates for best results.

Ultrafine looks interesting. Can be used as a coating prep. Wonder if it will work better or worse on other polishers then a standard polish

Re: RUPES Mille products and pads available now!
Why is there no instructions on how to use the polish for best results? Not even on the Rupes website as a download. There is no instructions on the bottle in English if there are any at all.
Are we supposed to guess at the best way to use it? How many passes? Does it diminish or is it a super micro abrasive. For a company that has the complete polishing system covered it seems strange that they missed this important fine detail.

Ultrafine can do some jeweling action on softer paints, but harder ones may not give much result.

Yeah it has to be used as a 2nd step after a regular finishing polish to get the jeweling results. That's the only way but it works unbelievably. I've never seen paint as shiny as after using millie ultrafine as a 2nd step.
You can do it quickly though with a flex and 6.5" pads.
