Re: NEW Product from McKee's 37! Anti-Frost Windshield Washer Fluid
Is this saying after you use it on your windshield and leave the car parked overnight during a freeze, the windshield won't be iced up in the morning?
Or that it won't ice up during that drive?

Ordered some. With lows in the teens and a truck that sits outside I'm sure I'll be testing it as soon as it gets here.

Just poured into my vehicles. Currently having freezing rain in the mid 20s. Tomorrow it will be 40, with a low on Sunday of 0. Gotta love St. Louis weather.
I mixed at the 3:1 ratio with blue juice because I had it on hand, and the temp range was what we usually see around here throughout winter. Will post findings.

Saturday: Temperatures started in the 40s, and by 5pm we had freezing rain and temps in the mid 20s. While putting down ice melt on my driveway, I started my truck, and sprayed the windshield. The ice started melting before the engine warmed up enough to heat the defrosters.
Sunday: Temps around 0 degrees, a little frost left on areas that the fluid wasn't on. Fluid didn't freeze.
Monday: Temps in the single digits with heavy frost in the morning. A couple squirts and my windshield was clear in short order.
Tuesday (today):Temps in the teens. Heavy frost on my truck's body, and windows except windshield. It was clear.
Verdict so far: It works well. I would be tempted to dilute more (maybe 4:1) because it's very expensive. We go through a ton of fluid in the winter time around here because our temperatures average just below freezing so there's usually a lot of melting on roadways during the day. Otherwise, it may get very expensive to use in no time.

If the windshield is coated (McKee's) will this product interfere with the coating properties?
