Re: Just Ordered
How should I protect the matte finish? I mean besides removing scratches or stuff like that I didn't figure anything would really change the appearance

Re: Just Ordered
Beautiful ride. Congrats on the soon-to-be ownership!
If that was my bike, I would seriously consider having it professionally wrapped to preserve that gorgeous factory color.
Other than that, leave it visually stock and spend the rest on susp, sticky rubbers, & track schools/days.

I work at a Harley dealership....and we have bikes called denim..( aka matte )...Harley has a cleaner just for the denim....they also told us to use Windex to clean the paint. But you cant put any LSP on it or it will ruin the finish.....

Chemical Guys has their matte detailer that provides UV protection. And some companies offer waxes for matte finishes, Swissvax being one, and Autoglym recommends their Super Resin Polish for Triumph's matte finish. But always read the owner's manual for what the manufacturer recommends for their finishes and talk to other owners that may have already tested products that did or didn't work.

Re: Just Ordered
Actually a lot of naked bikes have a standard riding position. I know that the monster EVO I just bought is about 100x more comfortable just to sit on than my r6.
