Favorite/Best chrome polish?
Just wondering what the popular chrome polishes are around here and if there is anything to be aware of or to avoid? Back when I worked in a Trek bike shop we had a polish called "chromax" for polishing up old chrome plated fenders/handlebars/etc but I haven't seen it since. Looking to really get my '80 Yamaha popping and while it doesn't need too much work on the chrome it could use a little on the front fender and crashbar.

I like Optimum Metal Polish, but I'm not trying to fix / correct the looks of anything. For something more aggressive, I like Mother's Chrome Polish. If need more aggressive than that, then, TW I suppose.

It depends on the condition, but I have used OPT Metal Polish, and even Meg's 105 and 205 with good results.

I use Chemical Guys Metal Shine and have had great luck with it. If the metal is really bad you might need something a little stronger, but the Chemical Guys is great and a little goes a really long ways. The more you buff it the brighter it gets!

Depending on what I'm doing....Mothers and Ps1 Polishing soap are my most used.

I use Mothers mostly (have some Optimum) but I want something to maintain quality chrome.

I haven't gotten to the point where I developed a favorite..
But do not do not do not do not use the turtle wax chrome/aluminum polish. I tried it out on a whim and it sucks. It's gritty and will leave swirl type marks.
