How long does it take you to detail a Motorcycle ?

harleys and other ugly bikes usually anywhere from 4-6 hours

I'd say anywhere from 3-15 hours depending on the type of bike, paint condition, amount of chrome, chrome condition, and wheel type...and hopefully the bike doesn't have anything that's polished aluminum.

My last bike was close to 2 hours just to do a 2-step polish on the paint....nothing else.

I detail on a bike to bike basis. Not many of my customers want a full detail with correction so i have to plan accordingly.

My bike. It extremely well kept and a full wash and detail takes about 4-5 hours. Have done dressers that take 10-12 though.

On a nice day...about 4-5 hours.

Two days to a week depending on the type of motorcycle. I'm in no rush.

This type of detailing includes removal of all items such as side covers, seat, gas tank, skid plate, engine protection bars, etc.

The end result is a better than showroom clean, even on the ones that I use for multi-week tours.

The 3 I have done were 6-10hrs

On Baggers I remove the windshield, saddlebags, seat etc.
I don't normally remove the engine guards.

It can take all day if correction is needed.


BTW - This was a fairly new paint job
