Pc 7424
Ok I am finally first at something! Want to use my 7424 on my Harley. Is the standard 6" pad and weight sufficent or do I need another setup for the bike?

I've actually found it easier to use 4" pads on my gixxer. I've never worked on a harley though, so i really can't say for sure. I would go out and get a BUNCH of foam applicator pads though... you're going to need it with all the metal polishing in tight areas that you're going to be doing....

I second the 4' pads

Agreed...4" pads will be easier to work in tighter spaces.

4" pads are the way to go.

Make sure to get the 3.5" DA backing plate-

We carry the swabs as well. The S100 ones are fairly large - http://store.yahoo.com/autogeek/s10012026.html.
I really like these because of their durability and shape.

always used da 4" pads on my busa as well, used a LC 7.5" pad a couple times on just the tank and it worked ok but still I prefer the 4"

If I use a PC its with a 2 7/8 backing plate and 4" pads. The majority of the time we use air buffers with 2" plate and 3" pads.
