New guy from NY

Brand new to this stuff....just bought a flex 3401 and a bunch of other products....now that I spent time reading I think I may have screwed up and should of bought the GG unit....can I mess up my paint with the flex since I am basically clueless....help ,

Down the road you would've wished you got the Flex 3401 over the GG6. Its a smart move. I sold my GG6 and got Rupes 15 + Rupes Mini. Recently I purchased Flex 3401.

You have a good start. What are you polishing?

I disagree, I am an "on the side" detailer and I bought the GG6. Yes I would like to ALSO have a Flex but I do not by any means NEED one. I think the GG6 is the best for the money. Home detailers who dont have alot of extra spending cash dont go out and buy a flex cause all the pros have them. If your comp/polishing 3 or more cars a week then I could see the argument. For your own car and a couple buddies/family I say no.

You can mess up your paint with a Griot`s to be honest. If I were you, buy a cheap junkyard panel to learn the machine before you put it on your car. The Flex is an amazing machine. I use it daily.
